If every follower only donated one dollar today..
..we’d be over 10% of our goal..
If every follower donated just $1 every day for the next two weeks, we’d be at our goal!
725 followers can make a difference..
you don’t have to donate a lot.
a little bit goes a long way when we come together.
one dollar and reblog..
Can you do it?

This video, which is about people in the Democratic Republic of Congo who are working to control their own destiny, is a little off our usual charity: water topic, but I thought our readers would be interested in other efforts to support sustainable opportunities in other countries.

I recently donated to the cause and I thought this might be of relevance to others interested in donating. A lot of companies will match donations to the organization, potential donors can check if their work places are a part of it by searching at this URL, http://www.charitywater.org/donate/match.php. The Haverford School’s second grade class in Haverford, Penn., started learning about the water crisis in May 2010. By July 1, they’d raised more than enough to fund an entire water project.
These kids give me hope for the future.

In 2008, humanitarian photographer Esther Havens met a young boy named Jean Bosco while a charity: water well was being drilled in his Rawandan village. Her photos of him have inspired hundreds of charity: water contributions. Since then, she’s photographed hundreds more people around the world for charity: water. She recently revisited that first village and met up with Jean Bosco again. Here is...
